IT Support Engineer – Perm

Torque Consulting is looking for a IT Support Engineer to join one of the fastest growing businesses in the North West. Due to an amazing growth plan they are looking to increase headcount again.
Working in a young, dynamic, and fast growing Technology Company, this role may suit an experienced or a bright IT Specialist looking for dynamic opportunities supporting computer hardware and software.
The individual will be involved in the day to day office support and will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the maintenance of all the IT infrastructure of the company.
- Installing and maintaining all staff PCs, laptops, workstations, servers peripherals and the software installed on them.
- Installing and maintaining general use software (antivirus, Office Suites, Graphics Packages, etc.)
- Helping all staff with IT problems.
- Performing backups and recovery operations and test them regularly.
- Managing and auditing licensing for all software purchased.
Candidates should have:
- Good working/practical knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems inc up to and including Windows 10.
- Good working/practical knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016/2019/O365.
- Working/practical knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems inc 2012/R2, 2016 and 2019 inc Hyper-V Server.
- Basic knowledge of Exchange Server 2013/2013/Exch Online, SharePoint, and SQL server.
- Active Directory knowledge and user creation.
- Cable patching and networking skills.
- Understanding of Backup Procedures.
