I am currently recruiting for an experience Purchase Ledger Controller working for one of the UKs Manufacturers.
This role is covering maternity on a fix term contracted for 12 months.
Job summary
- Processing purchase ledger invoiced onto the finance system on a daily basis – 2500+per month
- Paying suppliers on a timely basis, in accordance with supplier terms and co
- Building supplier relationships with suppliers
- Processing adhoc payments when necessary for proforma invoices
- Dealing with invoice queries – effectively working with other business departments
- Providing monthly goods received not invoiced accrual to the financial controller
- Assisting in stock takes – as required inputting stock counts sheets
- Adhoc tasks as required
Experience/ knowledge
- On job experience or a similar accounts role
- Access supply chain or similar accountingsystems
- Purchase ledger experience
- Raising payments
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Good level of IT literacy
- Good attention to detail
