Job Description JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer SALARY: £66,861 – £74,290 LOCATION(S): Leeds HOURS:Full time WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Leeds site. About this opportunity: As an experienced Quality Engineer working within the General Insurance Platform you’ll be part of a team working towards delivering digital journeys to our customers. The Lab’s purpose is to create an industry leading experience to help our customers with their insurance needs. We strive to achieve this goal by improving our customer journey with new features and tech, simplifying our customer journeys and improving infrastructure. Your role will be to help define and implement the non-functional testing strategy across our General Insurance platform. What you’ll need: We like people who come from a variety of backgrounds, leading to a diverse team. To be considered for this role, as a minimum, we would need to see the following in this rough order of priority: An excellent knowledge of Non Functional Testing, Test Models, Best Practices, Test Benchmarking and Non Functional Test Tools. This includes a good awareness of Test Data, environments, and environment suitability. Experience with toolsets including Load Runner, Performance Center, Dynatrace, Splunk, GitHub, JAWS, Axe, Light House, Sauce Labs; with a willingness to learn and develop those skills Experience of providing technical mentorship and training to junior testers inside the team. Significant problem solving, fixing and analytical skills.
