Junior Project Engineer – Malton

Permanent | £25,000 | 40 hours Mon-Fri | On-site

Responsible for day–to–day build and preparation of electrical/electronic (digital & analogue) ‘Simulation’, for the Company’s bespoke Metering Computer system projects and general hands-on Workshop/technician duties: including internal testing, goods received/dispatch and packing.

Typical Activities/Responsibilities:

• Electronic/electric assembly with inspection and testing
• Configuration, design and build of Simulation equipment to facilitate complete Metering Computer system testing.
• Electrical Wiring of Metering Computer system simulation (Hook up & Destruct)
• Electrical Control Panel Building (Panel Wiring), Testing and Commissioning

Qualifications and Experience:

• Higher education up to A Level Maths, English and Science (preferably Physics), is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic test equipment such as multi-meter, counter–timer, frequency generator and oscilloscope.
• Possess a good basic understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic about learning (quick & independent learner) and developing a successful career within Engineering (Electrical/Electronic and Computing).
